We all 90s kids have grown up watching Chandrakanta on Doordarshan. Chandrakanta, written by Devkinandan Khatri, was essentially the first bestseller to be written in Hindi. Hazaaron Khwahishein gives homage to the book and the serial in the form of a small passage that is based on the theme song of Serial Chandrakanta.
